Hayley is a Melbourne-based writer of fantasy, poetry and young adult fiction. With a background in film and television, she has pursued her writing ventures continuously and relentlessly. Recently she won the 2018 Alan Marshall Short Story Local Award, and has seen numerous works of short fiction and poetry featured in worldwide journals and anthologies. The release of Essence marks the first instalment of her debut, young adult fantasy series—The Essence Chronicles.
